Annie's Farmhouse

Deep down inside each of us, is the secret desire to live in a country house, nestled in amongst wineries, a river, a lake and a gorgeous country town. Well, we've found that very place and we're going to show you how to renovate this old girl to bring her back to life.

Award winning television host and home expert, Walt Collins, embarks on an extraordinary journey as he renovates this old farmstead into a modern country mansion, fit for a King! It is no easy task wrangling a regional property-renovation for starters. Throw in a global pandemic, materials shortages, trade shortages, riots, earthquakes and living IN the renovation- it makes for a raw, emotional and uplifting television special.

Walt takes us through his personal journey, renovating his own home and navigating termite infestations, design details and all the drama that renovating in a regional area brings.

Walt Collins is a regular on Australian television in the weekend lifestyle space, co-hosting all 12 seasons of Channel 10's long running lifestyle show Healthy Homes Australia. On top of that, he's the front man of Channel 10's hit show on house and land, Buy to Build. So when it comes to homes, there's not much he's not afraid to take on.

The property is located just near Rochester, in regional Victoria and was purchased just as the regional property boom, post pandemic, started to grow.

The show's theme song is by an up and coming country artist called Oscar Litchfield, titled Call Me Up.
